How To Tighten Loose Skin

A beautiful and fit body calls for a glowing fit skin. But no matter how much glow your face radiates (and contributes to electricity bill saving at your house), if your skin is loose, the entire glow and look of the skin would just melt away and fail to make an impression. And this phenomenon becomes particularly annoying when your body is not loosening because of age, but because of extreme weight loss and other such factors.

How To Tighten Loose Skin

In such cases, you are reduced to sitting and mulling that all that exercise and diet control that you did to get in shape hasn’t really paid off as you had expected. And though all the weight is gone, the signs that you were once fat have stayed back. It may also happen as a post-pregnancy phenomenon and this is known to be a major cause of depression among women. But all this does not have to be that way. If you can lose all that fat from your body, then you can also defeat those nasty skin folds. All you need is a little patience, determination and some good advice. While you have got to work on the first two yourself, here are some handy tips and advice that would help you tighten loose skin.

Facial Skin
  • Ice water is a natural anti-aging agent. Wash your face with ice-cold water at least 4-5 times a day to tighten your loose skin.
  • Exercise your facial muscles regularly. If you wish to rid yourself of chubby cheeks, then follow this exercise. Smile as wide as you can. Make it more of a grin, until you feel the stretch in your cheek muscles. Now hold out your index, middle and ring fingers of both hands near your cheeks and push them against your cheeks with as much force as you can muster.

  • Another exercise that works wonders with the cheek flab is the fish mouth exercise. Close your mouth and suck in both your cheeks to the maximum possible extent. Do this over and over again and you will surely get rid of those chubby cheeks.
  • Double chin is another problem area with respect to loosened skin. Close your mouth and tilt your head back so that you face the ceiling. Now make chewing motions with your closed mouth and move your chin up and down. Do this about 100 times a day.
  • Looking for tightening up skin around your jaw and neck so that you have a visible jaw line? Who doesn't? Close your mouth. Keep you lips nice and tight. Push your jaw and chin toward your lips over and over again. Do not do this in a chewing motion. Do not move your mouth or lips at all. Just your chin and jaw need to be moved.
  • Loose Abdominal Skin
  • Swimming is a blessing in disguise for people who intend to lose abdominal skin folds fast.
  • Exercises of all sorts may not be equally beneficial for this purpose. Hence, focus on the more rigorous exercises like sit ups, push-ups and running.
  • Stomach crunches are again the most effective and fastest way of getting rid of stomach folds. It also builds the flexibility and prominence of the abs.
  • The simplest way of course is to keep your stomach muscles tightened throughout the day. Make sure you suck in your stomach when you are driving or watching TV or even working in your office.

What is Atypical Migraine

Atypical migraine is a complex migraine headache and is commonly known as sick headache, common headache or migraine without aura. The diagnosis of this type is a little tricky. The main difference between normal and atypical migraine is that the symptoms of atypical do not fit in the normal symptoms.

However it is quite difficult to classify and categorize it from the normal ones but efforts are still being made to come up with an acceptable classification to make it easier to recognize the symptoms of atypical migraines. While diagnosing it, your doctor must be pretty sure that the symptoms do not look like migraines.

Atypical Migraine

About 23 million people are affected by this problem in the US, out of which 18% of them are females and 6% of them are males. Also, the white people are found to be most commonly affected by the condition. Migraines as such are often accompanied by headaches and if there is no headache then it is referred to as atypical migraine. It may involve stomachache, abdominal pain or even face ache. Another characteristic that differentiates atypical migraine from migraine is that it involves the whole head rather than only one side of the head. This condition tends to have neurological effects though it might last for only a couple of hours.

So far, researches have not been able to point out the exact causes of migraines. Though, doctors are indicating that it could be due to the constrictions of the blood vessels in the brain. But no one has been able to point out as to what makes the blood vessel constrict. Some of the causes of atypical migraines apart from the stated above are:

1) Genetic disorder

2) Insufficient sleep

3) Weather changes

4) Motion sickness

5) Exposure to fluorescent light or bright light.

6) Certain foods with additives

7) Smoking, drinking, stress and being overweight can also trigger migraines.

If you are aware of the things that triggers migraine then it is best to eliminate those things from your daily routine. As far as the treatment is concerned, there are a number of medications available which can be relied on. Also regular exercise, proper diet and a healthy lifestyle will also be helpful. An important point to keep in mind is that the attack of atypical migraines is similar to that of the strokes, so it is best to consult a doctor immediately.
