The healthy pressure rate is measured based on two measurements viz systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Systolic blood pressure is the pressure exerted on the arterial walls when the blood gets pumped out to the arteries, while the latter is the pressure which is measured between two heart beats or when the heart is at the resting stage. The article provides you with tips to maintain healthy blood pressure range. Read on to discover more.

Tips To Maintain Healthy Blood Pressure Range

As per ‘World Health Organisation’ (WHO) the normal blood pressure rate is generally reflected as the systolic or pulse rate value less than 140 and the diastolic value below 90. According to many renowned health organizations, the healthy blood pressure level for an adult will be a systolic pressure between 90-120 and a diastolic pressure between 60-80. According to the ‘National Institute of Health’ the suggested optimum blood pressure level is 120/80 mmHg. After an all-inclusive study of the suggested blood pressure rates of different health organisations, one can say that the exact healthy blood pressure rate reading will be somewhere between 120 and 130 systolic pressure, and between 80 and 85 diastolic pressure.

Steps To Ensure Healthy Blood Pressure Range

Quit Smoking or Lung Cancer - The Choice is Yours

As per the reports of a new study, it is never too late to quit smoking in order to double the chances of cancer survival even after being diagnosed with early stages of cancer. Until now there was very little evidence that supports the cessation of smoking among people with lung cancer making any difference to survival. The study found out that people who continued smoking even after discovering they had lung cancer, had a 20-33 percent chances of living beyond five years and those who have quit smoking have a 63-70 percent chances of survival beyond five years.

Lung cancer as such is one of the most common types of cancer that is growing rapidly. People who are diagnosed with lung cancer generally fail to live up to the next five years. So the best way out is to quit smoking at the early stages.

It can make a huge difference to your chances of surviving. As reported to the Associate Press, there is medical evidence that supports the fact that the damage done to the health of an individual with a puff of cigarette is being repaired by the body once the individual quits smoking. Thus, it is never too late to kick off the awful habit and begin a new life with more chances of survival.

It is worthwhile to note the fact that those people who are diagnosed with lung cancer and still continue to smoke are at a greater risk of dying sooner.

According to the researcher, cancer cessation program will be a lot more beneficial to the health. However, more studies need to be done.

Ocular Migraine Symptoms

Those people suffering from this type of migraine usually experience a number of visual symptoms. Though the exact biological causes of this condition is not yet known however, some factors that are under consideration are nerve palsy, internal carotid artery aneurysms and diabetes. These are some of the common causes of ocular migraines.

Ocular Migraine Symptoms

As far as the symptoms are concerned, most of the symptoms are associated with the eye. The pain is developed often around the eyes.

Nasal Allergies

Some of us are hypersensitive to foreign particles, which might not harm others, but might produce violent reaction to some of us. Even the slightest thing can trigger allergy to those who are oversensitive. There are different types of allergy, but nasal allergies and chronic allergy are the most common forms of allergy.

Nasal Allergies

Nasal allergy occurs when the nasal linings overreact to certain allergens that you breathe in with the air. It is also known as hay fever, allergic rhinitis. One might conceive from the name that it is caused by hay. However, hay has nothing to do with nasal allergy, it is the pollen that is being referred here. Most of the Americans including children and adults suffer from it. It is usually characterized by itchy nose and eyes, watery nose and nasal discharge.

When the nasal allergy occurs at a specific time of the year i.e. during the spring season it is known as hay fever or seasonal allergy and if it occurs the whole year round it is known as perennial allergy. The individual who suffers from perennial allergy mostly develop the symptoms since early childhood.

Nasal allergies causes are usually airborne particles such as pollen, dust, dust mites, animal dander, cockroaches and mold spores. However, there are other allergens which are likely to trigger allergy for instance, food allergens like milk, egg, tomato, meat, drugs, food additives etc.

The most common symptoms that accompany nasal allergy are sneezing, coughing, red, watery eyes, nasal congestion, swelling etc. the allergic reaction can make an individual susceptible to sinusitis and asthma. Other than this, a nasal allergy can also cause sore throat, stomachache, headache, loss of sleep, irritation, stuffiness in your cheeks, tiredness, loss of concentration etc.

There is no definite treatment for this sensitivity; all you can do is to protect yourself from the allergens. Though there are a number of medications available at the chemist and might help you to get immediate relief but in the long run, this might result into various side effects to your health.

Lymph Nodes Breast Cancer

Swollen lymph nodes may not be always cancerous. It could be swollen due to the formation of an abscess or it could also be due to presence of cancerous cells. But sadly there is no definite way through which you can confirm the cause of the swelling except biopsy. There are basically two ways through which the examination of the lymph nodes can be carried out. First is the standard axillary node dissection and second is the sentinel lymph node biopsy which is being conducted on selected person suffering from breast cancer.

Lymph Nodes Breast Cancer

In the standard axillary node dissection, the patient is required to remove about 10-30 lymph nodes for examination which in most of the cases results in lymphedema. In the SLN biopsy, removal of only 1-3 lymph nodes suffices the purpose. Though research on the SLN biopsy is still going however, it has been proved that removal of less lymph node decreases the chances of developing lymphedema. But after the examination of the lymph node, if the sentinel nodes are found to be cancerous then a complete removal of the nodes through axillary dissection is performed.

Numerous studies have been conducted on the metastatic tumor and a number of them are still going on to find out the risk associated with isolated tumor cells in the sentinel lymph nodes. And so far no studies have been able to reveal any consistent result and there has been no standard recommendation for axillary lymph node dissection. Thus the need for the standard axillary dissection of lymph nodes after detecting the presence cancerous cells in the sentinel lymph node is still controversial.

A number of physicians are of the opinion that those patients who had been diagnosed with breast cancer must be cautious about any enlarged lymph nodes that persists more than a month or so. A biopsy must be performed since the chances of cancerous cells being present are quite high. It must be cautioned there is a high chance of missing the cancer cells if a needle biopsy is performed instead of surgically removing the whole node.

How to Stop and Prevent Bad Body Odor

A bad body odor really disturbs your health and gives a tough time to people standing next to you. So, its prevention tips are very important to check out.

Bad Body Odor is actually the smell of bacteria that grows on your body. And this bacteria multiplies in the presence of sweat. But sweating itself is completely odorless to human beings. It is the mixing of harmful bacteria that accumulates to produce a stinking smell from your body. This condition is also known as body smell, malodorous smelling or fetid sweat. Thus, here are some of the best tips to cure and prevent this filthy body condition. Have a look below!!

How to Stop and Prevent Bad Body Odor

Important prevention tips for a Bad Body Odor

Limit body hair- Yeah!! its very important to have a limited amount of body hair to avoid a bad body odor. Now, it does not mean that you have to shave your head too!! That sounds ridiculous!! Here the point of removing hair is getting rid of the hair from the covered areas of the body or the areas where the skin gets less exposure to fresh air. The oil produced while sweating gets attached to hair on the body. They trap the bacteria that moves on the skin.

And thus they cause a lot of problem in increasing a nose troubling smell.

Hence, keep your beard or other parts containing more hair shaved or waxed.

But do remember do not overdo it. As this may result in the blockage of the barrier of hair-lines which protects the skin from other severe bacterias. Also, take a good care while shaving or removing your hair with some other method as a slight negligence may leave a cut or wound.

Be careful with the foods you eat- Do avoid foods like white flour, refined sugar, hydrogenated oils (french fries, crackers, chips, corns, pasta mixes and noodles), processed foods (macaroni, cakes, pizza, cheese food, peanut butter, brown and white sugar etc). Also do not take red meat as it releases many toxins into the blood stream. In fact, fiber-lacking food should also be avoided here in this case.
